NYFW – Kimberly Hotel

Excelente por su ubicación, excelente por su atención, excelente por su comodidad y servicios, sin duda alguna, el mejor hotel donde me he alojado durante una New York Fashion Week, es Kimberly Hotel. Se encuentra en la calle 50, a una manzana de Park Ave, a 10 min de la estación Grand Central y a 9 calle de Central Park, rodeado de ricos y encantadores restaurante, tiendas para ir de compras, fuera del bullicios y turístico Time Square. Realmente, alojarte en Kimberly Hotel, te hace sentir como todo un neoyorquino en Manhattan.

En la habitación que estuvimos era súper grande, cosa extraña al tratarse de la gran manzana, más que grande era como un apartamento de unos 80 m2 o más. Teníamos habitación independiente con una cama súper cómoda, una sala de estar donde poder comer cualquier cosa que compres en los puestecitos callejeros, un baño con mil toallas (adoro cuando vas a un hotel y el baño tiene toallas de todos los tamaños y súper suaves), una pequeña cocina y terraza! Todas las comodidades para alojarte después de un duro y largo día entre eventos y show de la NYFW.

Durante nuestra estancia, también tuvimos la oportunidad de disfrutar de desayunar o tomar el brunch en el bar Upstairs, un roof top en la azotea del hotel, con unas impresionantes vistas al edificio Chrysler, una opción más que aconsejable aunque no te alojes en el hotel. Además está abierto todo el año ya que cuenta con techo y paredes de cristal que se abren según la estación.

Bueno, dicho todo esto, es cierto que no es uno de estos hoteles modernos y cool que hay por NY pero si te prima la comodidad, espacio y la buena atención, sin duda, este es tu hotel para tu próxima visita a Nueva York.

Excellent ubication, excellent personal attention, excellent for its comfortability and facilities, with no doubt, the best hotel I have been during a New York Fashion Week, it is Kimberly Hotel. This hotel is in the 50th St., one block from Park Avenue, 10 minutes from Grand Central Station y 9 blocks from Central Park, sourrounded by tasty and charmy restaurants and shops, far from noisy and crowded tourist spots, but close from iconic places as Chrysler Building, Time Square, the 5th Avenue… I must say, that really, staying at Kimberly Hotel makes you feel in Manhattan like a real new yorker.

We stayed in a really big room, something strange when you travel to the Big Apple, it really was like an apartment of 80 m2 aprox or even bigger.  The room has an independent bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a living room where you could relax and eat if necessary and a bathroom with thousand towels (I love when you go to a hotel and you have every size soft towels), an office kitchen and a terrace. In resume, all amenities you need to relax and enjoy after a hard a long day between events and shows at the NYFW.

During our stay, we also have the oportunitie to enjoy having breakfast or brunch at the Upstair Bar, a roof top with an awesome views to the Chrysler building, a more than advisable option even if you are not staying at the hotel. Besides, this bar is open all year, due it has with a full glass structure they open depending on weather.

Well, after that, even if it is true that it is not one of these new modern hotels in NY, if you are looking for comfort, space and really good personal attention, with no doubt, this is your hotel for your next visit to New York.
